My work explores the space between function and form through semi-functional ceramics that emphasize surface, texture, and colour.

Drawing on my background in printmaking, I approach clay as a printed surface by layering slips, stains, and glazes much like ink, and incorporating monoprint and transfer techniques to embed imagery and pattern.

These tactile surfaces invite closer inspection and speak to themes of memory, repetition and material process. By merging ceramic and print practices, I endeavour to create objects that are both familiar and abstract—meant to be touched, used, or simply considered.
